CookiesRegTech (Cookies Regulatory Technology) — a product of SKYNET TECHNOLOGIES USA LLC, 9045 SW 79th Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32608, United States ("we", "us", "the Company").

Effective date: August 5, 2026

By creating an account, installing our consent script or plugins, or using any part of the CookiesRegTech service ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.

1. What the Service is

CookiesRegTech is a software-as-a-service platform for website cookie consent management: customizable consent banners, cookie scanning and classification, automatic blocking of tracking technologies until consent, consent logging with exportable proof, and compliance reporting for privacy regulations (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, POPIA, PIPEDA, and others).

The Service is a software tool, not legal advice. Deploying it does not by itself make a website compliant with any law. You remain responsible for your own regulatory obligations, banner texts, cookie categorisation, and privacy policy. Consult a qualified professional for legal questions.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including team members you invite. We may suspend or block accounts used in breach of these Terms.

3. Plans, billing, and trials

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through our payment processor (Stripe). Prices are shown at checkout and on the plans page.
• New paid subscriptions may include a 10-day free trial, available once per account. You can cancel during the trial without charge.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period, then the site moves to the Free plan (the banner keeps working on Free-plan limits).
• Where the Service is purchased through a partner (for example the All in One Accessibility add-on), billing, refunds, and cancellation are handled by that partner under the partner's terms.
• Plan limits (pages per scan, monthly pageviews, features) are enforced by the software and may be adjusted with notice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service on websites you do not control or lack authority to manage; scan websites you are not authorised to scan; attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service; resell the Service without a written agreement; or use it for unlawful purposes.

5. Your content and data

You retain all rights to your websites and data. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service (crawling your site when you request a scan, serving the banner, storing consent records on your behalf). Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by SKYNET TECHNOLOGIES USA LLC and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it while you have an account. The CookiesRegTech name and logo may not be used without permission, except for the attribution shown by the Service itself.

7. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We may modify features with reasonable notice for material changes.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100 if you use only the Free plan. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Termination

You may delete your sites and cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms; where practical we will notify you first. Sections 6, 8, and 10 survive termination.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Michigan.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes are announced by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
